  12. TrayDate is an almost-freeware program that displays the current date in the 
  13. Windows95 icon tray.

  15. *** PAYMENT ***
  16. If you use TrayDate, please send an e-mail message to devmf@rdn.com
  17. providing your name, city, state/province, country. Full address
  18. is *not* required as I do not plan to visit you. :)

  20. USAGE
  21. =====
  22.  
  23. (A) To start TrayDate, double-click on the executible and click OK.
  24.  
  25. (B) You may wish to place a SHORTCUT in your startup directory
  26.     so that TrayDate is started automatically at bootup.
  27.  
  28.     * If you want to start TrayDate _without_ the splash dialog:
  29.  
  30.         1) Right-click on the TrayDate SHORTCUT
  31.         2) Select "Properties"
  32.         3) Select the "Shortcut" tab
  33.         4) Add /q after traydate.exe in the "Target" input field. 
  34.  
  35.     * If you want to start TrayDate _with_ a BLANK space to the left
  36.       of the date:
  37.  
  38.         1) Follow steps 1), 2), & 3) above if you haven't already.
  39.         2) Add /b after traydate.exe in the "Target" input field.
  40.  
  41.     * If you want to start TrayDate without the splash dialog _and_
  42.       include a BLANK space to the left of the date:

  44.         1) Follow steps 1), 2), & 3) above if you haven't already.
  45.         2) Add /qb after traydate.exe in the "Target" input field.

  48. (C) To exit TrayDate:

  50.     1) Move your mouse cursor over any of the date info in the icon tray.
  51.     2) Right-click
  52.     3) Click the Exit button

  54. (D) Easter Egg

  56.     TrayDate has more that one pithy saying. See if you can figure out
  57.     how to get the rest of them. How many are there?

  59. (E) Constraints (Futures - for you optimists in the crowd)

  61.     1) It is currently available in English only.
  62.     2) Colour of background and digits is not modifyable (yet).

  75.                 occasionally the date elements get interspersed with 
  76.                 tray icons.) 
  77.                 Also added a "Regroup" button to perform the same task.

  79.                 elements. (Includes command-line parameter and checkbox.)

  82.             - Corrected a bug in the section that parses command-line parms.
